About Detroit Nighthawks

A city isn't just one place. It changes by the hour. The boarded up derelict at midday becomes the heaving nightclub by midnight. Places you simply don't notice in the thronging crowd can appear majestic in the darkness. Theatre lights wink on and off unwatched and the crosswalk lights command only shadows.

The photo at right, taken by another Detroit Nighthawk Group member, demonstrates just that.

Giancarlo Rinna @ LeavesOnTrees.com notes that lights are more interesting at night and his photo is proof of that. Jolli Lodge's, Greg writes that he is glad to have his lamposts lit at night after having an electrical short for some years. He writes:

In the winter when they are off it seems a little dark around here.
