Original Art?
Art can be created from many things, apparently including shopping carts. In his blog, Bill Steffen features a Canadian artist who retrieves shopping carts from the waterways and uses them to create sculptures. Now that's recycling at its best!
Art can also be found all around us in the form of graffiti. Check out dETROITfUNK's posts and you'll often times see talented graffiti artists' handiwork. While some would call this a crime, others would try to claim it as their own original art. detroitarts writes: What, an artist being ripped off for the sake of fashion design?...check out this local t-shirt designer who has allegedly ripped off a Banksy design for his "cool" new tiger t's.You decide whether Jack Savas is the artist or a ripoff artist. Regardless, I would recommend checking out Bansky's site. Comments:
Heh Tami, get your head out of your ass...All fashion is ripped off. All art is ripped off. Take a look at any art and tell me how original it is. Bansjy does own the copyright on bar codes and tigers, nor does he own the rights once he puts it on a wall.
