Appeals Court Rules Ice Mountain May Continue Bottling

The Associated Press (via the Traverse City Record-Eagle) reports that the Michigan Court of Appeals has ruled that Ice Mountain Spring Water is entitled to make "reasonable" use of available water resources in Mecosta County. The court did find the current 400-gallon-per-minute withdrawal rate unreasonable and has sent the case back to a trial judge to determine the appropriate pumping levels.
