Web 2.0 getting traction by PC Mike's E-Journal
Mike Wendland writes: Have you noticed all the stories lately about Web 2.0? Google just bought a Web 2.0 company that makes what could be the precursor to an online word processor that could someday rival, say, Microsoft's Word.
Trying to define just what Web 2.0 is lacks universal agreement, though generally, as this Wikipedia definition explains, it deals with interactive mini applications that can be used collaboratively, say like blogs, bookmark managers, wikis and shared online calendars. Some Web 2.0 apps also feature syndication. |
