The Michigan Chamber of Commerce has a news release opposing legislation that would provide for automatic annual increases in government spending on K-12 school districts, community colleges, and state universities (Senate Bill 246). The Chamber takes issue with the fact that (a) no fixed dollar amount is associated and (b) no funding source is identified.
