Internet in Thailand by PC Mike's E-Journal
Mike Wendland writes [from Thailand]: Whew. After powering down and reinserting the battery and a quick prayer, the BlackBerry 8700 started working just like I was back home. E-Mail, SMS, phone calls, I'm connected again. The Samsung is another matter. But the BB is all I need.
Not that there was ever any possibilitty of being unconnected here in Thailand. I'm now about 480 miles north of Bangkok in the northern town of Chiang Rai, near the border. Read The Net is everywhere including some photos of Thai Internet cafes
