Senate Committee Considers Childhood Obesity in Michigan by Red Tape Blog
Red Tape Blog writes: A state Senate committee will continue to discuss the issue of childhood obesity in Michigan this week.
The Senate Health Policy Committee on Wednesday is scheduled to hear testimony on a bill that would require public schools to offer physical education for all K-5 students at least twice a week for the entire academic year. Each physical education period would have to last for at least 30 minutes. |
