State Broadband Authority Under Attack
The Detroit News reports that Republican legislative leaders, angered at the $10 million loss piled up by the Michigan Broadband Development Authority, are seeking to terminate the agency by the end of the month. CEO Bob Filka said the agency has $17 million to lend to companies to bring high-speed Internet to remote areas of the state that don't have access.
