Crain's Detroit Business

State economists on Thursday released revenue forecasts that show mixed growth and continued economic challenge.

Current-year general-fund revenue is expected to be $8.2 billion, down 1.1 percent from fiscal 2005. However, revenue to the state School Aid Fund is expected to be up 2.9 percent from 2005, to reach $11.2 billion.
