Pictured Rocks Employee Receives Environmental Achievement Award

The Detroit Free Press reports that the Interior Department presented park facility manager Chris Case with an environmental achievement award. The Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore employee developed a biodiesel and biofluids program, using vegetable oil-based products as a replacement for the normal fuels, fluids and lubricants used in fleet operation & maintenance at Pictured Rocks.
