Lansing Explores Health Information Organization
The State News reports that Lansing-area health care providers, educators and state officials announced plans for a regional health information organization (RHIO). The RIHO will cost between $2.5 million and $3 million to implement and would be a networked system that would give doctors throughout the community access to electronic versions of their patients' medical records.
